About us
The American Legion is the world's largest wartime veterans service organizations, established by an act of Congress in 1919. Post 273 was chartered in 1921 and supports veterans and active duty military, the community, children and youth, and other charitable organizations. Our membership is comprised of veterans continuing to serve and family and supporters of veterans. The American Legion's four pillars are Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth.
